Wilderness International is a group of Christians who love the Creator and His creation. Our desire is to use this passion for Him and His creation to work towards the furthering of His work here on earth. He has inspired us to bring His truth, love, and principles into a segment of society that His followers have typically abandoned, the environmental and conservation movements. There are many within these movements that look upon the Christian community with contempt because of the message they feel we have conveyed. Right or wrong, many of them think they have heard the message that we don’t care about them or about God’s creation. Through our efforts we are working to change their perception. We are providing opportunities for churches and individuals within the Christian community to embrace those involved in the conservation and environmental movements.

At the same time, our activities and events are intended for everyone to get involved and to enjoy. We offer conservation projects, outdoor adventures and eco-adventures that combine both activities. We also work to provide educational opportunities for the general public. In all of these activities our goal is to help people to clearly see that God reveals himself through nature and that He desires to have a relationship with each one of us. Many quotes throughout history have referred to this truth:

We encourage people to work for balanced conservation, participate in outdoor adventures, and to enjoy the wilderness that is often right outside our front doors.
