About the Summit: Wilderness International, Inc. and George Fox Evangelical Seminary are partnering to provide a forum for evangelical Christians interested in environmental stewardship to explore our Biblical call to care for Creation. Come join us for a time of learning, sharing, and encouragement. Hear from local authors, experts and practitioners on the current issues related to the care of God’s creation from a Christian worldview. Network to build partnerships. Visit the resource table area to gain additional information. Find out how you can get involved in existing Creation Care efforts or be inspired to initiate your own!

Why are we doing this? We believe the Earth is in need of restoration. The evangelical Church is typically seen as being silent on the issue of environmental stewardship – we aim to change this reality and/or perception. The Bible speaks to our relationship with Creation. The Church has a responsibility to respond to God’s command to “keep” the Earth (Gen 2:15). Christians, especially those in positions of leadership, need to understand the theological and biblical basis for Creation Care. We want to encourage everyone to care for, restore and enjoy God’s amazing creation!

Questions: For any additional information, call 503-713-8556

Resource Table Area: Limited table space is available for organizations involved in natural resource conservation and education to display and offer information. If you would like to request table space for your organization, please contact Bethany at bethany@wildernessintl.com Space is limited so sign up soon to reserve your table.
