1. COMMUNITY CONSERVATION DAY:

Where: Meldrum Bar Park in Gladstone Oregon We will be removing invasive plants (Ivy and Blackberries) and spreading mulch as we prepare to plant native vegetation and restore native habitat at Meldrum Bar Park in Gladstone Oregon. Meet at the boat ramp parking lot by the Wilderness International canopy and sign. This is a continuation of a larger project started last year to build a “Native Habitat Demonstration Area” and then move on to larger areas that need restoration work in the park.

2. Mentoring At-Risk Youth

We will be doing a fall planting of native plants before the fall rains begin in order to continue our restoration of native habitat at Meldrum Bar Park in Gladstone Oregon. 4. Backpack Fish Stocking at Battle Lake - DATE: May 21, 2011 - Completed

Project: ODFW Backpack Fish Stocking at Battle Lake (North Coast of Oregon) - We assisted with backpacking fish over one mile into Battle Lake on the north coast in Oregon. Click here for a report on the project.
